OUR STORY
Where it began
Our story was born from two separate paths, guided by the same values.
In Islam, Qadr refers to destiny, to what is written and to moments of connection that unfold when the time is right.
Two paths, one intention
Before Qadr existed, we were both creating independently, yet guided by similar principles.
One path began with sewing small handmade pieces and made-to-measure clothing. The other developed through working closely with women who were looking for modest clothing that felt better on the body and better reflected what they wanted to wear.
Though our paths were separate, the intention behind the work was the same: modest clothing created with care, practicality and respect for the woman wearing it.
The moment of connection
Our paths crossed through a shared community and a shared interest in modest fashion. What began as conversation gradually became a clearer idea: perhaps the things we had each been searching for could be built together.
With time, reflection and many conversations, that idea became Qadr.
A shared vision
What connected us was more than creativity. It was a shared concern about the state of modest fashion and the difficulty of finding pieces that balanced coverage, comfort, fabric quality and accessible design.
Qadr grew from a desire to make those considerations part of the product itself, from the material and cut to the way a piece moves and feels throughout the day.
Today
Today, Qadr continues to grow around those same principles: thoughtful fabrics, considered coverage, practical design and a closer relationship with the women who wear our pieces.
We create ready-to-wear collections alongside custom-order possibilities for women who need a different measurement, fabric, colour or fit.
